About Em's Bakery
The process
Our products are known in Hoi An for their authentic European taste and texture, a result of our team's training from expert Italian bakers and constant attention to detail. We use European flour, European seeds, real French butter, and the freshest local fruits and berries to create pastries that are praised by locals and foreigners alike.

The chef
Since 2022 our bakery has been led by talented Vietnamese pastry chef, Thanh Thuy. A rising star within the local F&B industry, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy studied baking in Ho Chi Minh City and Nepal, and trained under noted Italian Chef Alessio Rasom. She sharpened her skills at a handful of prestigious five-star hotels before joining Em's Bakery as our executive pastry chef. Thuy's passion for pastry can be found in her exquisite cakes, excellent viennoiseries, and creative sweets and tarts.

The bakery
Travelers and fans of Em's Bakery can stop by our cozy shop and sidewalk cafe just outside the Hoi An Ancient Town. Choose your favorites for takeaway or pull up a seat and indulge in pastries fresh from the the oven, together with your choice of coffee, hot chocolate, tea, or juice. We also take advance orders for cakes for special occasions.
